ABOUT GEORGIAN BLUFFS

The township comprises the communities of Alvanley, Balmy Beach, Benallen, Big Bay, Clavering, Copperkettle, Cruickshank, East Linton, Hogg, Inglis Falls, Jackson, Keady, Kemble, Kilsyth, Lake Charles, Lindenwood, Oxenden, Shallow Lake, Shouldice, Springmount, Squire, Wolseley and Zion.

Communities in rural Georgian Bluffs are spread out amongst pleasant rolling farmland and vast scenic wonders.  The "Must See Gem" of the area is an 18 metre high cascade of waterfalls known as Inglis Falls. Inglis Falls has something for everyone; a viewing platform, 7.42 km of multi use trails, Bruce Trail access, more than 20 species of ferns, geological potholes, historical remains of a gristmill, historical water filtration plant and picnic facilities.

The Township of Georgian Bluffs has eight inland lakes and miles of shoreline on Georgian Bay. Many of these lakes have a public access and are great for fishing, canoeing or kayaking.  For the more adventurous, snorkeling and scuba diving can be found in the area.

Georgian Bluffs is also home to several municipally maintained parks, campgrounds, and conservation areas.
